EVER AFTER STORY

Hi, we’re Sayu and King — together we form Ever After Story. Since 2018, we’ve been transforming our love for anime, games, and fantasy into detailed costumes and stage performances. For us, cosplay goes far beyond creating outfits: it’s about storytelling, embodying characters, and sharing that energy with others.Over the years, our work has taken us to many different places — from performing skits on stage, to being invited as guests and judges at conventions, to representing brands at international events and booths. Most recently, we had the honour of working at the HP OMEN Activation during Valorant Champions 2025 in Paris (via Envy Create), an experience that reminded us how much we enjoy bringing characters to life in front of new audiences.Whether we are performing, judging, or appearing at a booth, our goal is always the same: to create meaningful experiences, connect with people, and share the passion that makes cosplay so special.

About Sayu

Photographer: Negai KiramekiI’ve been part of the cosplay world since 2013, and over time I discovered just how much I love performing on stage. While I enjoy the full process — from crafting costumes to preparing skits — my true passion lies in the technical side: making sure the timing, video, and audio all come together seamlessly. As a judge, I’ve had the chance to witness the incredible creativity and dedication other cosplayers put into their work. It’s always inspiring and pushes me to keep raising the bar in my own performances. Beyond competitions, I’ve also had the opportunity to take part in international events, where I could share my work with wider audiences and connect with people from all over. Those moments of exchange and collaboration are what make cosplay so special to me.

About King/KRÓL

Photographer: Negai KiramekiI entered the cosplay scene in 2015, and from the very beginning I was fascinated not only by performing on stage, but also by exploring cosplay through modelling. For me, each photoshoot is a chance to capture a character in a different light — to tell a story in a single image, while the stage allows me to bring that story to life in motion.Over the years I’ve had the honour of judging competitions and presenting my work at events, including on international stages. What I enjoy most is the variety that cosplay offers: one day it’s acting, the next it’s modelling, and sometimes it’s mentoring. No matter the form, it’s always about creativity, expression, and connecting with people who share the same passion.
